Your journey begins in the exhibition room, where you'll learn about the rich history of samba and the spectacular carnival parades that light up the city every year.
Next, get in the carnival spirit as you try on elaborate costumes and capture unforgettable photos. Enjoy a refreshing welcome caipirinha drink to get a true taste of samba culture. Then, join one of our talented Passistas for an energizing samba class, where you'll learn the basic steps and rhythms. Enhance your experience with a mixed percussion and dance workshop, blending Afro and Samba no Pé styles.
Return to the roots of samba with a tour of Little Africa, the cradle of this lively dance form. Finally, immerse yourself in an authentic festivity at Pedra do Sal, where you can dance and revel like a true Carioca.

Historical & Cultural Tour W/ Rio By Night
Walk along Rio’s Downtown area to learn more about Brazil’s history and the city’s post-Olympic legacy. Your day will start at the Valongo Wharf - the latest Unesco World Heritage site in the city – and learn more about the African influence in Brazil. You will also visit Kobra Mural – one of the largest graffiti walls in the world - to admire the five ethnic groups portrayed in the background. During the tour you will also visit the Museum of Tomorrow, the Monastery of Saint Benedict and the 2016 Rio Olympic Cauldron.
In the evening, you will visit the neighborhood of Lapa. Once the sun goes down, this
normally quiet neighborhood transforms into a bustling and vibrant area filled with
restaurants, nightclubs, and bars. We will take you right to the heart of the action, where our local guides will accompany you to one of the local clubs to enjoy traditional Brazilian jazz and samba in an unforgettable setting.
